Minneapolis/St. Paul – June 5, 2019 – Three Team USA Minnesota distance runners – Kevin Lewis, Joel Reichow and Danny Docherty – will compete in the 10,000 meters at the 12th annual Portland Track Festival – High Performance Meet on June 8.
The meet will be held at Lewis & Clark College with Section 1 of the men’s 10,000m starting at 8:25 p.m. followed by Section 2 at 9:00 p.m. (Pacific time).
Lewis won the 10,000m race at the Portland Track Festival in 2018 with a personal best time of 28:32.06. This will be the third time he has competed at the Portland meet.
Reichow has a best in the 10,000m of 28:42.35 which he posted in March at the Mike Fanelli Classic in California. Docherty, who has focused on road races since April 2018, returns to the track with a best of 29:16.
